Gul Bahao

There are only a few days left for the Holy month of Ramzan.I hope and pray that this year too you will be able to give us your Zakat and Sadqa .

This year we have stepped up our efforts to follow eligibility set down for Zakat and Sadqa.

We have increased our efforts to spread the word of God Almighty .

Starting from Southern Sindh I.e The divisions of Mirpurkhas, Tharparkar, Thatta, Badin, Hyderabad we are now concentrating on Karachi. In Karachi among others we are daily visiting the Madressahs associated with Mufti Taqi Usmani in Korangi Malir,Nooriabad and Mangopir.Jamia Darul Uloom is another institution we are working through.All this is being done on a volunteer basis.

Thousands of cards bearing translations (Ayats) of the Holy Quran have so far been sold in religious ijtimas, masjids,madressahs,shops,bus terminals, etc etc

All this is part of Gulbahao ‘s campaign of
“قرآن سمجھ کر پڑھو”۔

We at Gul bahao have also increased our efforts at consistently helping those in dire need to stand on their feet.

Among these are people who are on the verge of starvation who are jobless.On top of that they have various illnesses to contend with.

It is a nerve racking experience trying to satisfy the critical needs of these people especially when one disaster is faced when another one strikes. Sometimes it is an accident, at times someone is discovered with T.B .

Apparently there is no one to help these people which makes them exclaim
“اللہ کے بعد تم ہمارا سہارا ہو”

السلام علیکم!
Heartiest Congratulations on Nawaz Ali and his relations winning the case against the land grabbers and influential land Lords who had hounded them out of their homes .So much so that one woman had to suffer a miscarriage..

Remember I had written to you on 24th July last year”Give up ownership of the land or face jail”.Nawaz Ali,Sodho and seven other villagers of Goth Mirza Khan Gabol are being hounded day and day out for sticking to their homes. This land belongs to an ailing relative who has allowed them to live on his land.

The influential landlords who are trying to usurp the land of these poor people ,on the one hand have brutaĺly evicted them, on the other hand have put the police and courts against them.

Now these poor villagers are seeking bail before arrest . Every second or third day they have to appear before court to prove their innocence.

These people do not have enough to eat leave aside pay money for their bail and other expenses….”

It was months of hard struggle and patience on the part of the villagers that the Almighty was kind enough to bring the ordeal to an end . The court ruled in favour of the downtrodden villagers.

A big thank you to those of you who gave moral and material support to Nawaz Ali and his relations.
